Learning materials for Pupils self isolating or awaiting a covid-19 test result
Here is Baddow Hall Junior School's initial Remote Learning provision for pupils who are isolating at home due to a positive covid test result and/or showing covid symptoms. This period of time shouldn't be longer than 10 days, unless the isolating guidance changes, and may be as short as 5 full days (updated 17th Jan 2022).
In each year group tab there will be several English and Maths tasks, some of which can be completed in the first 24 hours. These are appropriate to the age/year group and are focused on key skills. There may also be a foundation subject task that can be completed. Following the first 24 hours, children will be sent tasks and resources that align closely to the focus of lessons taking place while they are absent. these will be set on Seesaw, our Remote Learning task sharing platform.
Please note that some tasks will have answer pages attached to them. These should be used as a reference point to support the children's learning and as an aid to measure understanding and not just to copy from.
For individual Year group activities and tasks, hover your mouse on 'Curriculum' from the top menu, hover over 'Remote learning initial work', slide right from the tab heading and click the link for appropriate year group.
